Daniel James Memorabilia Open Days
- Sat 22nd June from 10:00-14:00 at Mynyddbach Chapel
- Wed 26th June from 10:00-14:00 at Swansea Museum
Swansea Museum will be hosting two special open days for the purpose of collecting artefacts and memorabilia connected to the life, work and legacy of the author of Calon Lan, Daniel James. We would like to invite everyone in the local area to come and bring any memorabilia or artefacts related to “Gwyrosydd” for displaying in our exhibition. We would be delighted to hear your stories and see your collections, as there are so many wonderfully rich accounts of the expression of his talents.
Service of Celebration
Thu 27th June from at Mynyddbach Chapel
As a celebration of 379 years of worship and witness, we would like to invite you to our worship and celebration with our extended family. Our special guest minister for this occasion will be Rev. David Holdaway. David has authored 19 books and has a heart to rekindle revival in Wales. Our celebration will start with a tea at 5:00pm leading into worship at 7:00pm.
Songs of Praise Event
Sun 7th July from 6pm at Mynyddbach Chapel
In a special night of English hymns with Welsh tunes, Alun Tregelles Williams will conduct the singing as we make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Open Evening with Morriston Orpheus Choir
Wed 24th July from 19:00 at Mynyddbach Chapel
We are thrilled to invite you to a special joint open evening with the internationally renowned Morriston Orpheus Choir. This special night will include an exquisite solo performance and there’ll be refreshments and a chance to meet the choir and the people of the Chapel. This is a free evening, though please come early. Free parking can be found just in front of the Welcome Inn.
