It was great to see everyone come along to The Calon Lan Centre on Sunday 1st March for a St David’s Day celebration.
It was the first time that Welsh Connections had hosted an event at the Centre but it was an amazing few hours of fantastic music from Fiddlesticks String Orchestra, The Welsh Cakes, The Meadows Band and Keith Williams who opened the event with a Dylan Thomas poem. Some great work also from Dr David Bird and his students from UWTSD for recording and filming all the proceedings.
We had lots of lovely comments about the chapel’s wonderful acoustics and it certainly looked like all enjoyed the whole Mynyddbach Chapel venue experience.
Looking forward to more amazing events at the Calon Lan Centre.
